Herpetology at Jax State - Tales of the Slippery and Scaley! In-Person
In this session, students will learn about the biodiversity of Alabama’s herpetofauna – that is to say, the diversity of its amphibian and reptile species. Alabama is home to more species of snakes, turtles, salamanders and frogs than most countries. Students will get to meet some of the reptiles and amphibians that call Alabama home, as well as a few fun facts about their biology and ecology!
