Había una vez... Stories in Spanish!

Join us in the Children's Corner for Spanish Bilingual Storytime! We'll be hosting a special animated feature of Millones de Gatos/ Millions of Cats; La Historia del patito Ping/ The Story about Ping; and Sibale a Guillermito/ Whistle for Willie from 6:00-6:30.

Afterwards, gather around the stage with Kristen Gentry as she reads children's stories in Spanish. Kristen is a JSU student majoring in Spanish with a minor in Early Childhood Development. Ms. Gentry studied Spanish at The University of Salamanca in Spain. She will kickoff storytime with Siempre te querre/ Love youForever by Robert Munsche, which was Kristen's favorite childhood book. Storytime is appropriate for ages 4-7, wth some stories also aimed at for the younger ones, as well. However everyone is invited! Children who want to learn Spanish words are welcome as well.

Please join us as we celebrate storytime in Spanish! Storytime is from 6:00-7:30 on March 13th in the Children's Corner at the Houston Cole Library.
